Essential Things To Carry While Going On A Trip To Manali

The thrill of vacationing in Manali is quite unique as you not only get to enjoy the best of nature but can also take part in a wide range of adventure activities that are sure to leave you fresh and energized. Whether you are a couple enjoying your honeymoon in this soulful destination or is a casual visitor seeking a break from the monotony of everyday life, Manali has something exciting to offer to make your holiday full of great fun and memories. However, in order to ensure that you get the most from your Manali packages, it is important to carry the following essential things that will keep you safe and enhance your comfort level.
·         It is important to carry the most appropriate attire according to the season during which you intend to visit the hill station. While usual summer clothing can be worn at the hill station during the peak summer season, the nights tend to become cold even after sunset and you would require a shawl or light sweater to keep yourself warm. During the winter season, you should carry warm clothing preferably to be worn in multiple layers as the destination generally receives heavy snowfall which makes the environment quite chilly even during daytime.
·         Given the hilly terrain of the region, it is advisable to carry a pair of comfortable trekking shoes even if you are a female. Avoid taking your high heel sandals and other designer footwear to the hill station as you will end up feeling uncomfortable walking in them and might even damage them. In case the Manali packages include any adventure activities, do make sure that you carry a good pair of trekking shoes.
·         Carry all your travel documents including id proof, reservation details etc in digitized format on your mobile, so that you do not have to keep a hard copy of the same ready for easy reference. Also make sure to carry a portable charger so that you do not face the problem of a dead mobile, in case you need to show any relevant documents.
·         Do not forget taking your driving license with you so that you can enjoy the fun of biking in the hills. Although most Manali packages do not include this activity, you can always rent a bike from the local agencies and go out to explore the hilly terrain on your own without facing any legal issues if you have the right papers.

·         Carry along petty items such as a pen knife, torch with extra set of batteries, as well as any prescribed medicines.  Also, pack appropriate raingear, windcheaters, sun block and a good mosquito repellant.
